The body was found on the Agia Marina beach, north of the village of Pedi and opposite the northeast beach of Agios Nikolaos, where Mosley had set out for his walk. The discovery was made by a camera operator working with the state broadcaster ERT. The search for Mosley lasted four days and involved aircraft, drones, and sniffer dogs.

An initial post-mortem examination on Mosley’s body concluded that he died of natural causes. The examination found no injuries on his body that could have caused his death. The exact cause of death is still being determined, and further tests, including a toxicology report and a histology report, have been ordered.
